Gyroscopic Services

With over 25 years of surveying experience, MS Survey offers a wide range of gyroscopic instrumentation including innovative solid state technology, real-time and memory gyro systems. MS provides a complete line of gyroscopic survey services to meet customer’s specific application needs including:

Magnetic Services

MS Survey’s Digital Magnetic Instrumentation was designed and developed in-house to replace conventional mechanical compass style units with increased accuracy and many features not previously available with magnetic instrumentation.


These state-of-the-art digital instruments accurately measure the Earth’s gravity and magnetic fields simultaneously to determine the inclination (drift-angle) and azimuth of a borehole. They are also capable of providing orientation (tool-face) information along with several other important parameters.



Temperature Logging with CCL

The Temperature Tool uses a platinum RTD sensor that has a fast response to temperature changes.  The Temperature Tool is run in real-time below a Telemetry Section which supplies power to the tool and transmits the temperature data to the surface.
